Mr. McCormack, for 26 years, sat head a desk paid for union dues

To The Daily Sun,

Jim Barnes is my choice for selectman. He has worked hard all of his life. He is conservative, thrifty and a dedicated family man, and is as honest as the day is long. I have faith that he will be an asset to the people and the selectmen and that he will support the selectmen in their efforts to lower taxes and run the town cost-effectively.

Mr. McCormack is a union man who for 26 years sat at his desk and was supported by union dues. In dealing with union representatives for most of my 35-year career, I didn't find any of them to be honest or trustworthy. I can't imagine what qualities Mr. McCormack could bring to our town.

Please vote for Jim Barnes on March 11.
