Pray for souls of 7 local reps who voted to legalize marijuana

  • Published in Letters

To The Daily Sun,

Let us all pray for the souls of the seven members of the Belknap County delegation (Republicans Richard Burchell of Gilmanton, Guy Comtois of Barnstead, Charles Fink and Michael Sylvia of Belmont and Bob Greemore and Herb Vadney of Meredith — and one Democrat — Ruth Gulick of New Hampton) for having supported the bill to legalize the recreational use of marijuana. May you, your families, and your friends be spared the anguish of the actions caused by someone using this and any illegal drug.

Thank you Republicans — Jane Cormier and Stephen Holmes of Alton, Don Flanders and Frank Tilton of Laconia and Dennis Fields of Sanbornton — and two Democrats — Lisa DiMartino of Gilford and Ian Raymond of Sanbornton that voted against the bill. Thank you for being the light in the frontier of ignorance.

May God continue to bless the people of New Hampshire.
