To the editor,Ooops! I goofed in my last letter to the editor: The proposed Belknap County budget is not up nearly 9 percent, but the amount to be raised by property taxes is the issue and is up nearly 9 percent.
I'm not an economist, but I think that either way, and it was pointed out to me that there is a big difference, but really the bottom line in both situations still becomes taxpayer dollars!
