Dolores C. Tibbo, 91

MEREDITH — Mrs. Dolores C. Tibbo, 91, formerly of Northfield, NH, died at Golden View Health Care in Meredith on April 14, 2014.

She was born in Hartford, Conn. on June 20, 1922 the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Devanney) Cosgrove. Mrs. Tibbo was raised in Hartford and was a graduate of Bulkeley High School.
She resided in Northfield since 1983 where she resided until entering Golden View ten years ago.

Dolores was formerly employed at Aetna Life and Casualty in Hartford for several years until retiring in 1983.
She was the widow of Richard S. Tibbo who died in 1965. She was predeceased by two daughters, Patricia Ann Burrows who died in 1995, and Nancy Newcomb who died in 1998.
Also, a grandson, Christopher Tibbo who died in 2002.

Family members include her daughter and her husband, Cynthia and John Burrows of Laconia, her son, Richard E. Tibbo and his wife Kathryn of Port Orange, Fla., 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a niece, Sally Adams of Manchester.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield, N.H. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 18 at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.

Bernice L. ‘Bunny’ Lord, 75

LOUDON — Bernice L. "Bunny" Lord, 75, of 239 Mudgett Hill Road, died Friday, April 11, 2014, at Concord Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She lived in Belmont most of her life.

She was born on April 5, 1939, in Rumney, the daughter of Clifford A. and Jeannette (Forrest) Greenwood.

"Bunny" worked for several years for NH Ball Bearing in Laconia, as well as for Laconia Needle, and Belmont Hosiery.

She was an organizer of family reunions. She loved the ocean, being in the outdoors, and her dogs. She was an extremely hard worker and strongly enforced family values with a tough exterior, but a loving heart.

She is survived by her husband and loving companion for 36 years, Eugene "Gene" Morrissette of Loudon; her children, Robert O. Lord (and his wife, Lisa) of Belmont, Cindy Morrissette LaPointe of Franklin, Daniel Morrissette of Belmont, Gary Morrissette (and his wife, Katherine) of Loudon, and Scott Morrissette (and his wife, Juliana) of Sanbornton; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five brothers, Eugene Greenwood of Maine, Raymond Greenwood of Belmont, Ellsworth "Butch" Greenwood of Vermont, Alfred Greenwood of Laconia and Paul Greenwood of Claremont; and three sisters, Lorena Herbert of Cullman, Ala., Theresa Hammond of Franklin, and Mary Dubois of Laconia; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Clayton "Sonny" Greenwood, and Leo Greenwood, and former husband, Norman Lord.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at the Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia.

Carole E. 'Chip' Blaisdell, 71

SANBORNTON — Carole E. "Chip" Blaisdell, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 10, 1943, in Concord, N.H., and was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region, living in Sanbornton on Lake Winnisquam for the last 20 years.
Chip was the daughter of Thomas Perrier and Warma Renfors Perrier. She was employed as a bookkeeper for the Laconia School District and later worked for the Belmont School District in the Special Education Department. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a bookkeeper for Young Auto Sales in Laconia.
She is survived by her soul mate and husband of 23 years, Willard Blaisdell, her daughter Janice Nick of Nashua, William "Hinckley" Nick and his wife Debbie of Pewee Valley, Ky., her stepchildren Jennifer Blaisdell of Edgartown, Mass., Susan Blaisdell Dodge and her husband Jason Dodge of Stuttgart, Germany, and John Blaisdell of Attleboro, Mass.; also her nine grandchildren Sarah, Christopher, Laura, Hannah, Calvin, Lyla, Corinne, Ella, and Sam, her great-grand daughter Zoe, and her special little friend Kaitlyn, and all of whom were the joy of her life; also her nieces Michelle, Lisa, and Samantha.
More than anything, Chip will be remembered for being an incredibly caring and loving person to everyone she met.
A private remembrance will be held with family and friends at a later date.

Ellen M. Daub, 87

LACONIA — Ellen Mary (O'Rourke) Daub, 87, of Garfield Street, died peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a year of failing health.

She was born on February 26, 1927 in Ferns, County Wexford, Ireland, the youngest of six siblings. She came to America in 1953 on the Queen Mary and lived for many years in New York City, where she worked as an au pair on Long Island. Ellen was married to Robert L. Daub in 1957 and moved to Laconia in 1965 with their two children. Ellen worked for over 20 years at the Margate Resort as the head of housekeeping. She then worked at Lakes Region General Hospital for almost 20 more years, retiring in 2012 at the age of 84. She was well known for her love of gardening, baking and of course the Boston Red Sox.

She is survived by one son, Robert Francis Daub of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. and one daughter, Susan Alice (Daub) Ayers of Laconia, one grandson, John Liam Ayers of Laconia, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews in England. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her six siblings and one grandson, Luke Lawrence O'Rourke in 1990.

Sue and John Liam would like to thank all the staff of LRGH for their wonderful care over the past year and a special thanks to all the doctors and staff at the Vascular Office, especially Dr. Sam.

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral services will be private.
