My priority would be to enlarge the Belmont Police Station

To The Daily Sun,Belmont residents: On Nov. 15 there was a tour of four town buildings for concerned Belmont citizens. We saw the Town Hall, the empty bank building, the Mill and the police station. We need a safer environment for our officers and others that work in the building. Just look at our school system, which alone has grown from one location to three. LACONIA — Maggy D’s Garden Center, located at 263 Court St. in Laconia, is donating 10 percent of the proceeds from every Christmas tree sold this holiday season to the New Hampshire Humane Society.  Maggy D’s donated a portion of the proceeds of Christmas tree sales to the shelter for the last two years and has pledged to continue their support this holiday season.   Henry O. Luscher, 92 GILFORD — Henry O. Luscher, 92, of Gilford, died Nov. 21, 2017, at his home, after a brief period of failing health. Born in Tauffelen, Bern, Switzerland, on Nov. 13, 1925, he was the son of Otto and Rosa (Meyer) Luscher. Henry grew up in Switzerland and attended Swiss schools where he graduated from the Institute of Onken, in Switzerland, with a degree in engineering.
