Janet R. Clark Conner, 62
OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — Janet R. Clark Conner, 62, a long-time resident of the Lakes Region, died at Methodist Hospital in Oak Ridge on June 10 at 11:59 p.m. due to complications from cancer.
Janet was born in Greenfield, Mass., on Dec. 27, 1951, daughter of Kenneth and Cora Clark.
Janet moved with her son Joseph Clark to Belmont, N.H., in the early 1980s. Here she had many jobs to support her only son. Janet was easy-going, very caring, and most importantly a great mother. She then met and married Timothy Conner and together they moved to LaFollette in 2008.
Janet leaves behind her husband, Timothy Conner; son Joseph M. Clark; her brother, Kenneth Clark of Massachusetts; sisters Judy Tarterinni of Massachusetts, Karen Dodge of Tulsa, Okla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Janet will be laid to rest in her home town of birth, Greenfield, Mass., with her father and mother on June 26, 2014. There will be a memorial on June 28, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the Center Harbor Christian Fellowship on Bean Road, Center Harbor, N.H. This is the second memorial for Janet and will be held at this church that she considered home for a long time. This is what Janet would have wanted. Light refreshments served after service.
