Gloria I. Watts, 76
ALEXANDRIA — Gloria I. Watts, 76, died Monday, June 23, 2014, at home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Marlborough, Mass., the daughter of Vincenzo and Helen (Brodeur) Torraco. Gloria graduated from St. Michael's in Hudson, Mass.
Gloria married Roger Watts and raised a family of seven children. They moved from Marlborough, Mass., to Bristol in 1970. Together Gloria and Roger ran Buzzy's Market. In addition she did tax preparation for many people.
Gloria's greatest loves were her family and gardening.
Family members include three daughters, DiAnne Sharp of Stubenville, Ohio, Susan Gerbert of Alexandria, and Amy Vealey of Laconia; for sons, Roger Watts Jr. of Bristol, Timothy Watts of New Hampton, Raymond Watts of Laconia, and Thomas Watts of Bristol; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, June 26, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at the Emmons Funeral Home, 115 South Main St., Bristol. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 27, 2014, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Chapel of the Holy Trinity Parish, 2 West Shore Road, Bristol. The Rev. Leo A. LeBlanc, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery, Bristol.
