LA FOLLETTE, Tenn. — Janet R. Clark-Conner, passed on suddenly, to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, June 10, 2014, due to medical complications from ongoing treatments in her struggle for life against cancer.

Jan, as family and friends new her, was born in Greenfield, Mass., on Dec. 27, 1951, to her parents, Kenneth Sr. and Cora Clark. There she went to local schools. Moving to Belmont, N.H., she found her happiest years residing in the Lakes Region. Here she made her life for herself and son, Joseph M. Clark. Here she also met and fell in love with her husband of 10 years, Timothy J. Conner. The last several years, Jan and her family made their home in La Follette, Tenn.

There, she made new friends, and developed her new-found hobby and passion of raising her beloved Pekingese dogs. Jan's enjoyment in life came from family, friends and her beloved pets. She had recently become an Avon representative, and was so proud of her new vocation. Jan was always ready to lend a helping hand or word of encouragement. She will fondly be remembered, and dearly missed.

Jan is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Conner; her son, Joseph M. Clark; two sisters, Mrs. Karen Dodge, and brother-in-law, Jerry, of Tulsa, Okla., and Ms. Judy Tartarini, of Marlboro, Mass. She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth Clark Jr. of Ashland, Mass., and several nieces and nephews.

The first memorial service was held in La Follette, June 23,2014. Her remains will be laid to rest with her parents that predeceased her, in Calvary Cemetery, Greenfield, Mass., June 26, 2014.
A memorial service will be held in Laconia, at Faith Alive Church, 72 Primrose Lane, (located in the Industrial Park) at 2 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2014. Light refreshments to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Conner Family to help defray the expenses. A donation box will be available at the memorial service held in Laconia.
