FRANKLIN — Ronald O. Leclerc, 75, formerly of Franklin, died at Concord Hospital on June 2, 2014.
He was born in Franklin on Sept. 28, 1938 the son of Ovila and Jeannette (Leahy) Leclerc. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1956.
Ron served in the US Air Force from 1956 until 1960. He worked as an industrial engineer at Webster Valve in Franklin for several years.
Ron was a charter member of Franklin Targeteers, a life member of the North American Fishing Club, and was a member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks and the Knights of Columbus.
He was a good man with a huge heart.
Family members include his longtime companion, Theresa Beckford of Franklin, daughters, Louisa Simpson and husband Craig Simpson of Sanbornton and Lorene Ellis and husband Rich Ellis of Gilford, grandchildren Sarah Dickinson, Allison Ellis, and Sean Ellis, great grandson Logan Dickinson, great granddaughter Adleigh Dickinson, and his brother, Robert Leclerc and wife Theresa of Danbury. Ron was predeceased by his son, Michael R. Leclerc, who died in 1985.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10 a.m.
