Sanbornton moves to restaff weary road workers

Multiple snow storms and rain storms created freezing conditions that put pressure on road departments and their budgets. CONCORD — Tanya McCormack, 27, of Effingham pleaded guilty March 16 in Carroll County Superior Court to selling fentanyl that caused the death of Cole McMahon, 22, of Wolfeboro, said New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Wolfeboro Police Chief Dean Rondeau.McCormack was sentenced to 11 to 22 years in the New Hampshire State Prison with three years suspended off of the minimum and maximum portion of the sentence for selling the controlled drug... GILFORD — Daniel "Dan" S. Wheeler, 66, of Gilford died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Lakes Region General Hospital. Dan was born April 5, 1950, in Plymouth, the son of Miriam (Gilpatrick) Wheeler. He attended the University of New Hampshire, graduating with a bachelor's degree. Dan was an accomplished glass artisan, owning Native Sun Studio.
