FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Margaret Ann "Peggy" Flynn, 67, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 16, at her winter residence in Framingham.
She is survived by her husband Leonard Flynn of Meredith, N.H., and her three stepchildren, Stacey Smith of Harwich, Eric Flynn of Framingham, and Bryan Flynn of Chesterfield, Mo.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Young.
Margaret's passing leaves a great void in the lives of all who knew her. She was very active in many civic and social organizations in the Meredith, N.H., area. In the summer she worked on the MS Mount Washington and greatly enjoyed sailing on Lake Winnipesaukee. Among the many organizations in which she participated were the Meredith Library, the Neal Shore Association, the Meredith Garden Club, the American Legion and the Centre Harbor Historical Society. She loved gardening and was a master gardener.
In the spring, when the weather has warmed, the ice has melted, and the flowers of Meredith are in bloom, a gathering of her loved ones and friends will be convened to remember and celebrate her life. The location and time will be published in a future issue of this paper.
Margaret always gave of herself unstintingly and unreservedly to others and she will be remembered by all who knew her with loving gratitude and appreciation.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Beech St. Framingham.
