MEREDITH — Charles L. Harper, 85, of Meredith and formerly of Holliston, Mass., passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2014. Born in Natick, Mass., he was the son of the late Jessie (Godsoe) and Lindsay Harper. He was the husband of Jane (Armstrong) Harper of Meredith.
He was the owner of Central Garage in Holliston, Mass., for many years, was a member of the Classic Car Club of America and enjoyed restoring antique cars and boats.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, David Harper and his wife Paulette, Ellen Davis, Lynn Willette and her husband Albert, and Richard Harper and his wife Linda. He also leaves behind his siblings Robert Harper and his wife Loretta, William Harper, Jerry Harper, Phillip Harper and his wife Janet, a sister-in law Eleanor Harper; his grandchildren Jonathan Davis, Stephanie Davis, Adam Willette, Nicholas Harper and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brothers Joseph Harper, Daniel Harper and his wife Lauren, and his sister-in-law, Geraldine Harper.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Feb. 28, at 10:30 a.m at Lake Grove Cemetery, Highland Street, Holliston, Mass.
