CHATEAUGAY, N.Y. — Rachel T. Perkins, 82, of 679 #5 Road, and formerly of Gilmanton Iron Works, died at her home on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. She was the widow of Harold Perkins who died in 2007.
Mrs. Perkins was born September 25, 1931 in Laconia, N.H., the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Anna (Renillard) Goupil. She was a longtime resident of Gilmanton Iron Works before moving to New York.
Survivors include her daughter, Rose Saley, of Florida; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Julie Perkins and Paul and Ellen Perkins, all of Gilmanton, N.H. and Daniel Perkins and his wife, Sara, of Chateaugay, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Pete Goupil, of Laconia, N.H. and several nephews and nieces.
Calling hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stage Road, Gilmanton, N.H.
