ALEXANDRIA — Roger A. Watts Sr., 78, of Leprechaun Lane, died Thursday, January 2, 2013 at Speare Memorial Hospital after a period of declining health. He was born in Framingham, MA, the son of Raymond and Marion (Eagles) Watts.
Roger worked for various grocery stores in Massachusetts before moving to Bristol in 1970. He opened and operated "Buzzy's Market" for many years prior to his retirement.
He enjoyed collecting stamps and target shooting in his spare time. He was known for his love of history as well. He was a family man and loved time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Family members include his wife, Gloria Watts of Alexandria; three daughters: DiAnne Sharp of Stubenville, OH; Susan Gerbert of Alexandria and Amy Vealey of Belmont; four sons: Roger Watts, Jr. of Bristol; Timothy Watts of New Hampton; Raymond Watts of Laconia; and Thomas Watts of Bristol; 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one sister Virginia Barnard of Hebron, nieces and nephews.
Services- Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Emmons Funeral Home, 115 South Main Street, Bristol, NH. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 9 at 9 a.m. at the Emmons Funeral Home.
