LACONIA — James Tarte, 57, of 260 Mile Hill Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Sunday, January 5, 2014.
James was born September 26, 1956 in Laconia, N.H., the son of Harold and Marguerite (Rollins) Tarte. He was a lifetime resident of Laconia and attended local schools. He graduated from Laconia High School in 1974 and had been employed at Persons Concrete and T & L Concrete. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Marguerite Tarte, of Laconia; two brothers, Carl Tarte of Center Harbor and Paul Tarte of Laconia; four sisters, Maxine Violette of Belmont, Donna Robert of Weathersfield, Vermont, Martha Tuttle of Concord and Lois Pinard of Belmont and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Harold Tarte, in 1983, two brothers, William Tarte and Timothy Tarte and two sisters, Margaret Gove and Kathleen Tarte.

A Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at the family lot in St. Lambert Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.
