Lyon Jr. with the Mensa Educational and Research Foundation’s 2017 Intellectual Benefits to Society Award also served as a family reunion, a gathering of friends, and a military reunion. Dane Prouty of Moultonborough died suddenly on Aug. 15, 2017, at her home.Born on July 27, 1925, in Medford, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Joseph Noyes and Alice (Hilson) Marsh.She graduated from Medford High School and attended Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts.She spent one year in Mexico with the American Friends Service Committee.
