To The Daily Sun, On Friday, Jan. 29, four students from Laconia Christian Academy and I spent a short half hour picking up trash in an area between the Community Center (Union Ave.) and the CVS Pharmacy. Rhoda M. Allard, 95

NORTHFIELD — Rhoda "Nana" M. Allard, 95, a lifelong resident of Northfield, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen following a short period of failing health. Rhoda was born in Northfield on Dec. 23, 1920, daughter of Alfred and Amanda (Bernard) Gilbert.
