LACONIA _ A half-mile section of Union Avenue was closed for a time Tuesday morning while police defused a situation in which a man was posing a threat to himself and officers. A man called police and said he was going to harm himself, and then threatened officers when they arrived. Bristol Old Home Day Fri. and Sat. to feature food, fun
