Miracle Treats Day at the Laconia Dairy Queen on Union Avenue in Laconia saw 2017 Miss Winnipesaukee Amanda Ledoux of Litchfield, Miss Lakes Region Outstanding Teen Sophia Joyal of Laconia and Miss Winnipesaukee Outstanding Teen Eliza Fisher of Pembroke raising funds for the Make Miracles Happen organization. Canterbury Fair takes place Saturday

CANTERBURY — An annual volunteer-run celebration of small-town community, this year’s Canterbury Fair will once again kickoff with the Woodchuck Classic 5K Road Race and 2K Chipmunk Classic Kids Run. FRANKLIN — David John Leroux, 53, of Victory Drive, died Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon after a long illness.
