To The Daily Sun, Last week a Mr. David B. Stowe (DVM) took me to the woodshed for being uncivil in my response to Robert Joseph. I read my letter a couple of times and couldn't find anything in it that was "uncivil." Minuteman Health members have extended deadline for insuranc…

CONCORD —  The 20,000 Minuteman Health members who must find a new individual health insurance plan for 2018 have a reprieve from the federal government: They qualify for a special enrollment period that would allow them to select a new plan until March 1. Minuteman Health, a Massachusetts-based health insurance co-op, announced in June that it would stop offering insurance plans in 2018. ALTON — Dorothye S. Wentworth passed away Sunday evening, Nov. 19, 2017, with her loving family at her bedside, after a lengthy illness.Dorothye was born in Smithton, Missouri, on Nov. 28, 1932, the daughter of Hilda (Young) Smith and Alvin Smith. She was raised by her grandfather, Reuben Young.Dorothye graduated from NHTI in Concord.
