  PLYMOUTH — Speare Memorial Hospital has received a $3,000 grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. The grant will help further the hospital’s mission of providing health care to the communities of central New Hampshire, by helping to fund the purchase of new equipment for the Speare’s Community Dental Health Program. Dane Prouty of Moultonborough died suddenly on Aug. 15, 2017, at her home.Born on July 27, 1925, in Medford, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Joseph Noyes and Alice (Hilson) Marsh.She graduated from Medford High School and attended Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts.She spent one year in Mexico with the American Friends Service Committee.
