Work out with Little League Jan. 21

LACONIA — Laconia Little League is hosting winter work-outs for the 2017 season, with the first on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Laconia Middle School. There is no charge. Children ages 5 to 12 (born between May 1, 2004, and Aug. 31, 2012) should bring dry indoor shooes, a glove, water and energy. Coaches are also needed. Register in person or at www.LaconiaLL.org. Joyce Finn’s life to be noted

MEREDITH —There will be a Celebration of Life for Joyce Finn, who died Jan. 6, 2017, and who was cremated and interred at the Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.  She was married to her husband Elliot for 61 years.  The celebration will take place at American Legion Post 33 at 6 Plymouth St. in Meredith on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. All are welcome to join in this celebration.
