Fire on Belvedere Street displaces four

By MICHAEL KITCH, LACONIA DAILY SUN LACONIA — Fire that swept through the apartment on the first floor of a two-story building at 38 Belvedere St. around 1:20 p.m. Thursday displaced a family of four from their unit on the upper story. The woman living upstairs with her partner and two teenagers said she saw smoke rising through the baseboard heaters in her apartment , encountered heavier smoke when she went downstairs, and immediately called 911.
