Ashland awarded $250,000 grant for septage expansion

By BROOKE ROBINSON, for THE LACONIA DAILY SUN ASHLAND — Ashland's wastewater plant capacity will increase 30 percent with no cost to taxpayers due to a $250,000 grant awarded by the Northern Border Regional Commission on Friday.   CONCORD — Marguerite Rosalie Bagley LaFrance, 86, passed away suddenly from age-related causes on August 26, 2016.Marguerite was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on August 5, 1930, to John Francis Bagley and Margaret Ann Hogan. She graduated from Berlin High School in 1948.Marguerite met her husband, Leo Alec LaFrance, as a teenager, when he made twice weekly deliveries of ice to the Bagley home.
