Police arrest man for kidnapping couple held at gunpoint near Laconia Library

LACONIA — A Laconia man has been charged with kidnapping following a report of an attempted robbery. The Laconia Police Department said they spoke with one of two alleged victims, who said while in the area of the Laconia Public Library a man had threatened her and her husband with a gun and forced them to walk to their home Wednesday.
