LACONIA — Grade three students from Inter-Lakes Elementary School were able to take a field trip to Prescott Farm to practice some of the things they learned about tracking with Will Robinson from Prescott Farm. This was possible because of the support given to Inter-Lakes School District by the Geralynn Anne Fountain Foundation grant. Vastine, 69, a longtime Lakes Region resident, died peacefully in his sleep at his daughter's home in Tilton, on Feb. 24, 2017, following a long period of failing health. He was a resident of Sanbornton at the time of his death. Michael moved from Connecticut to New Hampshire in 1977.
