Few taxpayers interested in Gunstock borrowing $1.5-million

LACONIA — A small and overall favorable crowd came to last night's public hearing on whether the Belknap County Convention should vote to allow Gunstock Mountain Resort to borrow $1.6-million of a $2.1 million expansion. The expansion, if the convention approves the sale of general obligation bonds, would begin this summer and would add the largest zip line in the county, Segway tours and enable to resort to capitalize on the non-winter season.
