Laconia resident receives Fulbright award

LACONIA — Alec Walker of Laconia, a member of the Boston College Class of 2016, has been awarded a prestigious J. William Fulbright grant, a coveted post-baccalaureate study/research/teaching award given annually to the nation's best and brightest college students. Verna P. Moulton, 87 LACONIA — Verna Priscilla (Donovan) Moulton, 87, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia on June 18, 2016. Verna was born on Feb. 2, 1929, in Four Falls, Victoria, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of Zean and Pearl (Scott) Donovan.
