Billings & Mega will contest open I-L seat

MEREDITH — Voters will have the opportunity this March to choose either Mark Billings or Chris Mega to serve on the Inter-Lakes School Board. The men are running to represent Meredith on the board, a three-year seat which will be vacant because of the retirement of Jack Carty.Also up for election this year is the seat representing Center Harbor. Sally Whalen, the incumbent candidate, is running unopposed.
The filing period for the Inter-Lakes School Board closed on Friday.
