GILMANTON — Selectman Marshall Bishop will be running again for re-election for a full three-year-term. As of Friday at noon, no other candidates have entered the race although the sign up-period expires on Feb. 3.

Early on, a representative of the Town Clerk Tax Collectors Office said Grace Sisti and Debbie Fletcher have signed up for two open spots on the Budget Committee. As of noon Friday, incumbent Brian Forst will run again, long-time member Stan Bean said he would not be seeking another 3-year-term.

"I think it's time to let some new people step in," Bean said yesterday.

Incumbent Town Clerk Tax Collector Deb Cornett is seeking an additional three-year term, as are Glen Waring for treasurer, Robert E. Richards for trustee of the trust fund and John L. Dickey for cemetery trustee.

Those interested in running have until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, to file for candidacy at the town clerk's office in the Academy Building, 503 Province Road.
