MEREDITH _ The lakes gallery at chi-lin is getting a facelift beginning outside with new signs and an easier to ﬁnd entrance. Beautiful Ming wooden doors have been installed inside the gallery in anticipation of a tea cafe to complement the satori tea garden. Both current exhibits, New England landscapes to Live With I & A Time of Flowers are extended through Labor Day to accommodate all the changes, with a second part of the landscape show this fall.
Two Nature Journal workshops are coming soon—the ﬁrst on Friday, August 29th & the second Friday, September 26th. Both are from 10—3:30. The cost for either all-day workshop is $85 and all materials are included.
This Fall Carol Ann Morley is returning with Botanical Sketching in Pen & Ink and Drawing Skills. Italic & and now, Copperplate, calligraphy classes are in the planning stages along with workshops revolving around tea & wellness
including The Romance of the Ancient Arts, exploring the relationship of fragrance & tea.
