Ken Littlefield Benefit on Aug. 9 from 6pm-10pm at the American Legion in Laconia

LACONIA  — A lifelong New Hampshire resident Ken Littlefield, 52, currently residing in Gilmanton with his wife and two sons,  recently encountered a paralyzing work accident. In concordance, a benefit will be thrown to assist with his changed livelihood.

Ken worked for Swenson Granite for 33 years, 12 of which were spent as a foreman. While working on a house, Ken unfortunately fell 26 feet off of a ladder in April, which resulted in a three month hospitalization period with a current placement of a wheelchair. The benefit will be held on August 9, from 6-10 pm at the American Legion, located at 849 North Main Street, Laconia. Tickets are 10 dollars or more.

Some Auction items will include: Various hunting knives, a granite mantel clock, a personal handyman for 4 hours, with a larger prize of labor only for an 8X10 concrete project which includes a job consultation, and many other prizes. All donations will assist in funding the benefit and assisting in Ken's family.

Donations can be made written to: Citizens Bank C/o Ken Littlefield, 587 Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246. You can also contact Theresa Dawson at 603-630-5302 and she will receive your donation/items for the auction from you at your home or place of employment.
