Community College holds registration day

LACONIA — More than 70 incoming Lakes Region Community College students participated in a special registration day this week to get information and sign up for classes for the fall semester which starts in September.

The number represented a 19 percent increase over last year.

"Given the strong response to LRCC Registration Days, the Fall Semester numbers look good," said college Student Services and Enrollment Management Vice President Dr. Larissa Baia, who noted that registrations are still being accepted for fall

"Going into your first year in college, you get nervous," said Kristin Gilmore, of Plymouth, one of the students who attended the registration day. "LRCC's faculty and staff made the Registration Day experience very welcoming. I look forward to the coming academic year."
