Wolfeboro Fourth of July Fireworks Set for 9:30 pm, July 4th

WOLFEBORO — The Wolfeboro Department of Parks and Recreation once again invites the community to enjoy the Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration on the grounds of Brewster Academy at 9:30pm on Friday, July 4. The fireworks show will be provided by Atlas Pyrovision Productions, which has hosted shows throughout New Hampshire, as well as the Boston Pops, The International Fireworks Competition in Montreal, QC, on the Washington Mall and at Fenway Park.

Brewster Academy has graciously agreed to host the event once again, and residents and visitors are invited to come onto the grounds, lay out a picnic blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy the show up close. Other good viewing areas are Cate Park and the Town Docks, or on a boat out in Wolfeboro Bay.

We ask that visitors to Brewster Academy stay off of the new artificial turf "Brown Field". Excessive use, food and beverages can harm this valuable resource. All other field areas are still available for seating. Additional seating areas on the Fry Field (below the Smith Center) that have been closed to viewing in the past are now open for fireworks viewing.

Limited parking is available on the grounds of Brewster Academy. Additional parking is available on Main Street and other downtown streets, as well as the Glendon St Municipal Parking Lot (3 block walk) and Lehner St Municipal Parking Lots (5 block walk). Portable toilets will be available near the Pickney Boat House.
