Historical walking tours in downtown Wolfeboro

WOLFEBORO — The Clark Museum will offer the first in a series of walking tours focusing on the town's history on Saturday, July 5, at 2 p.m.

The walks will begin in front of the Chamber of Commerce building, and will take approximately 45-60 minutes with water provided for guests. The tour can accommodate a maximum of 20 people.

The program will be led by several costumed guides representing the Victorian era of personalities who lived in the Clark House. The tour route will take participants past buildings and spots in the town that are no longer there or have changed greatly as Wolfeboro's history has unfolded.

Watch our website at wolfeborohistorical society.org or the sign in front of our museum for three other walking dates.
The price of the tour is $5 for a family and $3 for individuals. This price also includes admission at any time during the season to our Museum Complex at 233 South Main St.
