Imaginarium offers creative setting for young learners

MOULTONBOROUGH —  The Imaginarium, which recently opened at Harbor Square, 60 Whittier Highway here, has programs that merge  children, families and community together through mindful play. It offers a variety of opportunities that engage children through creativity including an art room for endless creations, music and movement studio for parent/child classes and gross motor area for all ages. There is a fifteen foot sensory wall for discovering and manipulating, including an object permanence and critical
thinking activities. The 'tiny town' room ignites a child's imagination and fosters social development and invites families to partake in dramatic play. The 'tiny town' is equipped with a barn area, park, one room school house, house, post office and bakery/bistro.

The Imaginarium offers a variety of programs to bring the community together. The Kinder Choir is a program that teaches
children not only to sing but to share their gift of voice to the community. Children commit to 'Carol for Quarters' in
return for a song and donate their earnings to the WLNH  Children's Auction during the holiday season. The Imaginarium has a wide variety of birthday packages available as well.
Yoga programming offered in the fall include Bedtime yoga for families. Families come to class in their pajamas, stretch, and learn calming techniques and end with a bedtime story. >
Private and group music lessons are offered at The Imaginarium as well as parent/child music classes.
The Imaginarium will be licensed to offer a small group, part time preschool program this fall.
The Imaginarium is opened for set drop in public play hours  Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9-Noon.
