GILFORD — The Belknap County Area Committee on Aging hosts Denise Sharlow, Executive Director of the Belknap Mill Society to discuss social capital, volunteerism, and the Belknap Mill. The program will be on June 13th at 10 a.m. at Wesley Woods Community Room off Rte. 11A, behind the First United Methodist Church in Gilford.
The program will highlight the Mill's history, and volunteer opportunities. As life changes, volunteering is especially important for health and well-being – both physical and mental. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
