‘What is Fair Use?’ is next workshop in Enterprise Center’s small business series

PLYMOUTH — The Enterprise Center at Plymouth (ECP) will present the next workshop in the Small Business Legal Series with Devine Millimet: What is Fair Use? on Thursday, June 19, from 7:30-9 a.m.

This seminar will focus on Fair Use as a defense to Copyright and Trademark Infringement and will briefly discuss rights of publicity. Business owners, artists, writers, graphic designers, musicians, and more, come learn from Kim Peaslee, a Devine Millimet lawyer who specializes in Intellectual Property, as she reviews the types and uses of protection to help determine which, if any, is best for you.

Peaslee is a member of the firm's Patent, Trademark and Licensing practice group who assists clients with a wide range of intellectual property matters. With years of experience in both patent and IP litigation legal departments with firms in Boston and Nashua before moving to Manchester, Kim has experience with patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and litigation matters.
