Meeting on state of Northfield roads

NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Committee is holding a public meeting for town residents concerning the state of Town roads. The meeting wil be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 7 p.m. in Northfield Town Hall.

The CIP committee is beginning its annual review of the town’s 5 year road and bridge repair and reconstruction plan. Over the next few months committee members will be assessing road and bridge conditions, repair costs and safety. The committee's goal is to prioritize and schedule repair projects for the 2015–2019 period. Citizen input is an important part of this process and will be a factor in the prioritization of projects.
