Plant and Yard Sale at Lane Tavern postponed to May 24

SANBORNTON — The Historical Society will welcome the public to a plant sale and community yard sale at the Lane Tavern, 520 Sanborn Rd on Saturday May 24, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Noted Sanbornton gardener, Faith Tobin
will provide for sale a variety of perennials, annuals & vegetable starters.

The sale was originally schedule for May 18 but has been rescheduled because of a bad weather advisory.

Those who wish to rent a yard sale space ($10) please call Vickie Abbott, 630-1380. There are ample grounds for many vendors. The Society will sell coffee, drinks, snacks and sandwiches to the public.

The Sanbornton Historical Society provides historical educational programs free of charge from April-October (2nd Thursday 7 p.m). Guided tours of the early 19th century Lane Tavern are given to local school groups or by appointment. The Tavern may also be rented available for functions.
