Bicycle Rodeo on Saturday at Opechee Park

LACONIA — The Kiwanis Club of Laconia will be holding an expanded Bike Rodeo/Community Safety Day this Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Opechee Park parking lot off North Main Street. Bicycle safety checks, free helmets, bicycle obstacle course, food and fun is planned.

The Laconia Police Department, the Laconia Fire Department, the Marine Patrol will be represented and have their equipment available for tours and viewing. Others participating include LRGHealthcare, Greater Lakes Child Advocacy Center, LHS Key Club, Cub Scout Troop 68 , Community Emergency Response Team, and MC Cycle and Sports. Refreshments will be available for purchase, and a free bag of popcorn will be given to all children in attendance.
