Some Traffic Delays on Route 175-A

PLYMOUTH — Plymouth State University is alerting the public there will be intermittent traffic delays on Route 175A during the time of the university's undergraduate commencement on Saturday, May 17.

The ceremonies are scheduled to be held at Currier Field on PSU's Holderness campus, beginning at 10 a.m.

Because of the large amount of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in this location, there will be intermittent delays on Route 175A between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Alternate routes of travel are suggested. The road will be shut down for approximately 15 minutes beginning at 8:30 a.m. during the graduate and faculty procession from the main Plymouth campus to the event site, and it will also be closed for a short time at the conclusion of the graduation ceremony at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Commencement honorees include Connecticut prosecutor Stephen Sedensky III (a PSU alumnus), bionic limb innovator Hugh Herr, former University System Chancellor Stephen Reno and Gov. Maggie Hassan.
