Belknap County GOP will hear Hemingway, Innis at meeting on Wed.

BELMONT — The Belknap County Republican Committee will meet Wednesday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Top of the Town Restaurant, 88 Ladd Hill Rd in Belmont.

The Committee will have two guest speakers, Andrew Hemingway of Bristol, a candidate for Governor, and Dan Innis of Portsmouth, a candidate for Congress in the 1st district. They will each discuss their reasons for deciding to run for public office, and will share with the Committee their philosophies and their positions on the issues affecting the state of New Hampshire. They are both facing primaries, so their appearance at this month's meeting will offer Committee members the opportunity to ask questions to help them decide who to vote for on September 9.

Belknap County GOP meetings are open to all Republicans and like-minded independents. Per their usual meeting format, those interested in having dinner and/or wish to socialize before the meeting, plan to arrive as early as 5 p.m.

The Committee once again reminds everyone planning to attend to bring a non-perishable food item to the meeting for distribution to local food pantries.
