Enterprise Center Offers Workshops for Small Businesses

PLYMOUTH – The Enterprise Center at Plymouth is offering several workshops next week for small business owners.

The 5 C's of Credit, a workshop for small business owners seeking to understand the role of credit when it come to applying for a small business loan, will take place at the Enterprise Center at Plymouth on April 22, form 8-9:30 a.m.; at the White Mountains Community College in Littleton on April 24, from 9-10:30 a.m.; and at the Lakes Region Community Services in Laconia on April 30 from 9-10:30 a.m.

The workshop will be presented by Michael Tentnowski, Director of the Enterprise Center at Plymouth.

On Tuesday, April 22, from 5:30-7 p.m the Enterprise Center  will present a program about the new wave of Encore Entrepreneurs.

An Encore Entrepreneur is someone nearing or beyond 50 who's ready to venture into business ownership. An Encore Entrepreneur may have an idea and just need the tools to get you started, or s/he might just be pondering the notion. Either way, this program will help attendees to effectively prepare for, start, and run a business.

Hugh Curley from the Small Business Administration (SBA) will present an educational seminar outlining the elements of business ownership. This program is a presented partnership with the SBA and AARP with assistance from NH's Small Business Development Center, SCORE, and the Center for Women's Business Advancement.

The Enterprise Center will offer the workshop, Building a Winning Culture for Startups on Wednesday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Lakes Region Community Services in Laconia.

The workshop will be conducted by Michael Kilfoyle.  Recognized as a national sales leader, Michael speaks regularly on organizational improvement. Michael received his BA in History and MBA with a concentration in Organizational Development from Plymouth State University. Despite these achievements, Michael spends much of his time away from work trying to prove that the phrase, "cool dad", is not an oxymoron.
