Bring Meditation to Your Gardening Life talk on May 9

MEREDITH — Bayswater Book Co. of Center Harbor teams up with Moulton Farm to host author Cheryl Wilfong for a Tea and Talk on Friday, May 9 at 2 p.m. at Moulton Farm. Wilfong will be discussing her non-fiction book, "The Meditative Gardener." Tickets are $20, which includes The Meditative Gardener Notebook or $10 off the cover price ($35) of "The Meditative Gardener" and refreshments prepared in Moulton Farm's Bakery and Farm Kitchen.
In her down-to-earth book, Master Gardener and mindfulness meditation teacher Cheryl Wilfong offers a variety of wisdom practices and meditations that can be transplanted into daily life in the garden. Written for a beginning, lapsed, or seasoned meditator, her gentle, friendly, and humorous tone creates a nurturing environment in which to practice mindfulness in our very own gardens. Wilfong holds a Master's degree in counseling psychology with a concentration in Mindfulness and currently teaches at Vermont Insight Meditation Center.
