Audubon Plans Program on Nature Art

MOULTONBOROUGH — On Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m. at the Loon Center in Moultonborough, the Lakes Region Chapter of the New Hampshire Audubon Society will present a program about "Robins in the Blueberries," a talk by artist and gallery owner Nancy White Cassidy. She will share her processes, her influences, and where her art is leading her.

The children's and educational book illustrator, fine artist, and instructor is a recent transplant to the White Mountains from Connecticut. She earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree, and has taught drawing, illustration, pastels, and perspective throughout New England. Her new Jackson studio accommodates 12 students comfortably, and offers access to outstanding scenery nearby.

The Loon Center is located on Lee's Mill Road; follow the signs on Blake Road from Route 25 near the Moultonborough Central School, or from Rte. 109 turn on to Lee Road and turn left on Lee's Mill Road. Refreshments will be served.
