Pasquaney Garden Club holding year's first meeting April 15

BRISTOL — Spring is coming and it is being heralded by the Pasquaney Garden Club's first meeting on April 15. The Pasquaney Garden Club is a member of the New Hampshire Federation of Garden Clubs and the National Garden Club, all of them just wildly ready for spring.

At this first meeting the club is pleased to introduce the topic, "Using Fruits and Veggies in Your Edible Landscape" presented by Dick Flanders, an experienced Grafton County Master Gardener well versed in local growing conditions and challenges.

The edible landscape gives gardeners the best of both worlds, an attractive landscape and fresh, healthy, home grown fruits and veggies. Flanders will also be part of a panel of Master Gardeners who will answer gardening questions submitted by the audience. The meeting will be held at the Minot Sleeper Library on Tuesday, April 15. Hospitality will be at 9:30 a.m. followed at 10 by a business meeting and the gardening presentation.
