GILFORD — The GSD S.T.E.M. Team is proud to announce that it was chosen to be a "Showcase District" at the Boston Museum of Science Gateway S.T.E.M. Symposium on Thursday, March 20.
Superintendent Kent Hemingway and Director of Curriculum Scott Laliberte represented the District, and presented several of the different STEM-related learning activities that have been introduced by Gilford teachers this year. The school's participation in the Symposium will only broaden the network of STEM resources available to Gilford students and teachers.
This school year, teachers have presented our students with a number of different learning opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math as highlighted on this web page. The advancements that have been seen in this, our first year working with the Gateway Institute, have caused the leadership at Gateway and the Museum of Science to recognize the great work that has been done in a very short period of time by our teachers and students around this most important effort.
