Circle Trot runners could earn $400 for their school

PLYMOUTH — Students, teachers and parents are invited to participate in the 4th annual Circle Trot scheduled for Sunday, April 13th from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The run/walk sponsored by the Circle Program, in collaboration with Plymouth State University's Center for Active Living and Healthy Communities, will feature 10K, 5K, and 2K distance options.

All proceeds will go to benefit the Circle Program which is a summer camp and year-round mentoring program providing qualified New Hampshire girls and young women with the skills, courage and confidence they need to handle challenges in their lives.

Area schools can participate to win prizes that will benefit the school community. The total number of registrations from each school will help determine its standing. Participating schools will be competing for a 1st place prize of $400 towards sports and wellness equipment of their choice. The winning team will be determined by the highest percentage of participants to total school population. Students, parents, teachers, friends and siblings can all count for a vote as long as they are registered for the Circle Trot.

To register for the race visit http://www.active.com/plymouth-nh/running/distance-running-races/circle-trot-4th-annual-2014 before Thursday, April 10.  During registration answer the "School Spirit Challenge Vote" question with the name of your school.
