CONCORD — Women Inspiring Women, the state's largest organization for women, will be giving women tools for "Making Self-Care a Priority" at their event by the same name on Wednesday, April 2, in Concord.
Guest speaker is Jaclyn Hannan, B.S, M.S.W. of New England Pastoral Institute. Jaclyn specializes in working with issues related to identity, divorce, depression and anxiety among the child, adolescent, and adult populations and received her Master's Degree in Social Work from UNH. Her presentation discusses the importance of practicing self-care to better achieve balance between the stresses of work and the on-goings of personal life. This presentation will also provide the opportunity for individuals to evaluate their own self care practices and encourage feelings of confidence and empowerment.
Making Self-Care a Priority is being held at the Centennial Hotel, 96 Pleasant Street in Concord and begins with a social period from 11:45 to 12:30 followed by a buffet lunch and presentation from 12:30 to 1:45.
