Speare Hosting Annual Women's Health Event

PLYMOUTH — Health education, hula hoops and a wine tasting—it's all part of Speare Memorial Hospital's fourth annual Wine, Women & Wisdom women's health event on Thursday, April 3, at 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Common Man Inn in Plymouth, and tickets are $10 each. Advance ticket purchase is recommended as a limited number will be available at the door. Tickets can be purchased:

· Online through www.spearehospital.com, then click the event link,

· Speare Memorial Hospital at the reception window in the main entrance lobby,

· Dressers Unlimited on Main Street in Plymouth.

Sponsored by Millennium Integrated Marketing, presenters this year are Dr. Linda Haller with Plymouth OB/GYN and Kristina Stalnaker, APRN, with Plymouth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic. "Our speakers this year are addressing topics our attendees said they were most interested in following last year's program," notes Speare's Director of Community Relations Michele Hutchins. "Dr. Haller will be discussing stress and anxiety and how it affects your health, while Kristina is covering aging and orthopedic related issues—hips, knees, arthritis and osteoporosis. Our goal is to create an open, supportive environment that creates a shared experience for all. And of course we have to have a bit of fun as well."

Adding to the fun will be a wine tasting hosted by LaBelle Winery. Based in Amherst, New Hampshire, LaBelle was founded by Amy LaBelle. It all started with her first batch of blueberry wine and has grown to a 20,000 square foot building on 11 acres in Amherst including manufacturing and production facility, tasting room retail space, a bistro and event space.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and a light supper buffet will be available. Please bring tickets with you the night of the event. In addition to your admission, tickets will also be able to be redeemed for an attendance gift. Should you have other questions, contact Michele Hutchins directly at (603) 238-6468.
